Palm Oil Mill Screw Press Drives

Screw presses are used to press palm oil fruits for crude palm oil. The presses consist of twin parallel screws running side by side in a common perforated cage having a figure 8 cross section; with a hydraulic controlled cone at the other end controlling the pressing pressure. Gearbox drives only one screw and the other screw is driven via a 1:1 spur gear.
